Mobility is the first barrier for many children. It's the first one we're solving. Wheelchairs have already been delivered to children who have never had their own before.
The Mission
Therapy, close to home. For the children who need it most.
In Kajiado, Kenya, Maasai children with disabilities are being left behind, not because their families don't care, but because the nearest therapy is too far, too expensive, and too foreign. We're building something different.
The Need
Equipment exists. Access doesn't.
The Jihan Shariff Foundation has established relationships with therapists and equipment providers in Kenya. What's missing is a local, accessible facility, somewhere close enough for children and families to actually reach, consistently, and for free. Without that, the equipment stays idle. The children stay home. And the gap stays wide.
Distance is the reason. Proximity is the solution.
What We've Done
This isn't a plan. It's already in motion.
Partnership Formalized
Care South Solutions and the Jihan Shariff Foundation have formalized a joint build. The facility will carry both names, reflecting both continents and both commitments.
Facility in Development
Land identified. Design in motion. Target groundbreaking, before the end of 2026. This isn't a someday-project. It's a this-year project.
What Comes Next
A facility. A community. A proof of concept.
Once the Kajiado facility is operational, our work doesn't stop. It scales. The model we're proving here, local, free, community-embedded therapy for disabled children, is one we plan to bring to other underserved communities across Kenya, and beyond.
